To take the Sandhills Elixir up a notch, try your hand at infusing it. Here's one of our favorite recipes.
16 oz of Elderberry Sandhills Elixir
1/2 cup to 1 cup of dried elderberries
1/2 cup to 1 cup dried lemon peel
Pour elderberries and lemon peel into a quart jar.
Add 16 oz of Elderberry Sandhills Elixir.
Infuse for three to five days. The jar can remain on the counter. Shake once a daily.
Strain the infused Sandhills Elixir into a separate pint jar.
Enjoy with your favorite cocktail.
